Skim-Fill Int. White
A general purpose interior environmentally friendly multi-purpose, ready-mixed Acrylic-based filler with a matt finish. Ideal for scraper coating onto plastered walls to fill plaster grain. Can be sanded easily once fully dried. No priming needed if the Skimfill has been properly preped (surfaces wiped with damp cloth).
Recommended For
INTERIOR surfaces.
Used as a hairline crack filler, or as a scraper coat over cement plaster (eliminating the need for filling).
Also suitable for skimming over defects in plasterwork, for skimming after alterations or renovations to marry new and old surfaces, and for skimming over correctly
prepared pre-painted surfaces to provide an even surface.
Provided the surfaces are sanded correctly, all the powder has been wiped off and the surfaces are free of any contamination, then a primer is not necessarily required.
However, as a safeguard a suitable primer is generally recommended before applying finishing coats.
Not Recommended For
Not suitable for exterior use.
All cracks >0.5mm must be prepared in the recommended manner. Midas Skim-Fill Interior may not fill them effectively in one coat.
Application

Apply using a steel trowel or spackle tool. Sand when dry ±4 hours after application depending on thickness. 100 grit or finer sandpaper is recommended.
Spread Rates
On reasonable plaster ± 1m²/kg as a skim coat and 2m²/kg as a scraper coat.
NOTE: The spread rates quoted are approximate and should only be used as a guide as the actual rate will vary depending on the condition and porosity of the substrate.
