FIBREFORCE W&T
An environmentally friendly, specially formulated Acrylic coating incorporating long-strand inert fibres which ensure flexibility and strength. Has a slight sheen finish.
Recommended For
EXTERIOR surfaces.
Used as an intermediate, high-build coating for bridging hairline cracks on exposed plastered surfaces. Suitable for weatherproofing tops of exposed plastered walls
window sills, small ledges and tops of plaster mouldings, as well as exposed weather-facing walls or fairfaced brick walls.
Suitable for areas where Fibreglass tissue is not suitable.
NOTE: Midas Fibreforce is an intermediate coating and must be overcoated with Midas Midalux 240, Midas Flexicryl or Midas Coast Guard.
Not Recommended For
Not suitable for the treatment of rising damp.
Application
PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information on surface preparation
contact your nearest Paintsmiths store.
After the correct surface preparation has been completed apply the necessary primer coat.
Then thoroughly stir and apply two coats of Midas Fibreforce to suitably primed surfaces using a brush or a roller at the stipulated spread rates. Always lay off with a
brush.
As it is a thick coating always ensure that the coating has dried in depth before overcoating.
Apply two coats of a recommended topcoat. Refer to the relevant product datasheets for spread rates and overcoating times.
