FOUNDATION COAT – W&T
An enviromentally friendly, acrylic coating incorporating a range of ultra fine sized particles which dries to a matt finish
Recommended For
INTERIOR and EXTERIOR surfaces.
Used as the primer coat under Earthcote Pandomo and Earthcote Granite Paint.
Can be applied directly onto well cured masonry surfaces, previously painted surfaces in a sound condition or suitably prepared and primed friable surfaces that are to
be coated with the above. While the low viscosity ensures good penetration and adhesion, the aggregated surface provides a good key and sound base onto which the
above are applied.
Not Recommended For
Do not apply directly onto fresh/uncured masonry surfaces.
Application
PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information on surface preparation
contact your nearest Paintsmiths store.
Thoroughly stir and apply one coat of Foundation Coat to prepared surfaces using a brush or roller at the stipulated spread rates. Allow to dry before overcoating.

NOTE: The spread rates quoted are approximate and should only be used as a guide as the actual rate will vary depending on the condition and porosity of the substrate.
