GRANITE PAINT T/BASE
An environmentally friendly, acrylic coating filled with multi-coloured acrylic flakes giving a hard, matt textured finish.
Recommended For
INTERIOR surfaces only.
Used on suitably prepared and primed new or previously painted surfaces.
Not Recommended For
Not suitable for use in wet areas.
Application
PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information
on surface preparation contact your nearest Paintsmiths store.
Note: When overcoating sheen finishes, they should first be sanded then suitably primed.
Apply one coat of Earthcote Foundation Coat, tinted to your chosen colour, using a Hamiltons 225mm Polypile roller at the stipulated spread rates.
Allow to dry before overcoating.
Thoroughly stir and apply two coats of Earthcote Granite Paint at the stipulated spread rates, as supplied in your chosen colour, to prepared surfaces
using a Hamiltons 225mm Polypile roller and then laying off with a Hamiltons 150mm Utility or 150mm Fibreglass brush.
Allow to dry between coats.
Spread Rates
Earthcote Foundation Coat: ± 6m²/litre
Earthcote Granite Paint: ± 3m²/litre
NOTE: The spread rates quoted are approximate and should only be used as a guide as the actual rate will vary depending on the condition
and porosity of the substrate.
