Earthcote Wax Paste
A solvent based, soft pearlescent wax paste applied to various finishes to produce a pearlescent metallic effect.
Recommended For
INTERIOR surfaces.
Used as a finishing coat to seal and enhance the lustre and appearance of certain paints and lime-based finishes.
Not Recommended For
Not suitable for exterior use as a sealer or in kitchens and bathrooms where walls are consistently being washed/wiped down.
Do not apply near sources of heat e.g., fireplaces, as it can soften and become dirt retentive when exposed to higher temperatures.
Application
PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information on surface preparation

Apply the first coat of Earthcote Wax Paste to chosen surface with a lint-free mutton cloth. Allow to dry and then polish by hand or by Orbital buffing machine. Take care
not to buff out the metallic flake if polishing the Metallic or Gold Wax with an Orbital buffing machine.
Apply a second coat of Earthcote Wax Paste in the same manner. When the desired effect is achieved it can be protected with a coat of clear Earthcote Wall Wax.
IMPORTANT: Earthcote Wax Paste is purely a decorative finish and while it does seal the surface it does not make it a washable/scrubbable surface.

±11m² per 500ml tin/coat
NOTE: The spread rates quoted are approximate and should only be used as a guide as the actual rate will vary depending on the condition and porosity of the substrate.
