Woodprime White
A superior quality solvent-based blend of synthetic Alkyd Resin and drying oils for application to raw timber where the oils nourish the timber and extend life expectancy. Interior and exterior use.
Recommended For
INTERIOR and EXTERIOR surfaces.
Used on all raw wooden surfaces that are to be painted. All knots in pine must be spot primed with Knotting and Wood Sealer prior to being primed with Wood Primer
White.
Not Recommended For
Not required on “manufactured wood” e.g. Supawood, Hardboard, etc.
Application
PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information on surface preparation
contact your closest Paintsmiths store.
Thoroughly stir and apply one coat Midas Wood Primer White to correctly prepared surfaces using a brush, roller or spray at the stipulated spread rates. Allow to dry
before overcoating.
When spot priming old timber where the paint has flaked off take note that extended drying time may occur where it is applied over the old coating as the oil can’t
penetrate into the substrate.
