Multipurpose Wood Varnish C&T
A general purpose, solvent-based varnish with a glossy finish. For interior and exterior use.
Recommended For
INTERIOR and EXTERIOR surfaces.
For use on raw or previously coated timber, wooden furniture and in low-traffic areas.
Not Recommended For
Not suitable for use on hard, oily woods like Kerry Gum and Balau.
Application
PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information on surface preparation
contact your nearest Paintsmiths store.
Thoroughly stir and apply one primer coat Midas Multi-Purpose Wood Varnish, diluted by 5 - 10% using Mineral Turpentine. Apply evenly using a brush in the direction
of the grain. Allow to dry before overcoating.
Then apply two finishing coats of Midas Multi-Purpose Wood Varnish to the prepared surfaces, in the direction of the grain, using a brush at the stipulated spread rates.
Allow to dry before overcoating.
Note: At least three coats should be applied to raw timber in order to achieve an even and durable finish. Sand lightly between coats.

NOTE: The spread rates quoted are approximate and should only be used as a guide as the actual rate will vary depending on the condition and porosity of the substrate.
