PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information on surface preparation contact your nearest Paintsmiths store. Surfaces should be hosed or washed with clean water to remove heavy dust and grit deposits. Apply Galv Etch using a mop-swab or brush. As this is an acid-based product, precautions must be taken to avoid contact with skin. Galv Etch requires a wet reaction period of 10 - 15 minutes before rinsing clean. Once cleaning is complete, the surface should be thoroughly washed with water to remove all residues. The surface should be checked that it is water-break free after cleaning. The Galv Etch treatment must be repeated on areas which are not water-break free. Allow to dry before painting.
