ANTI FUNGAL ADDITIVE
A broad-spectrum antifungal and anti-algal additive for the protection of dry waterbased paint films. Helps to inhibit growth of mildew, fungus without altering product.
Recommended For
INTERIOR and EXTERIOR surfaces.
Suitable for adding to water-based paints to prevent the growth of fungi and algae on the paint film. Fungal and algal growth is most common on south elevations and
other damp areas which get minimal sunlight.
Can also be used in coatings applied in bathrooms and kitchens which are prone to fungi and algal growth. Good ventilation is essential in these areas as it assists with
allowing the walls to dry out.
Not Recommended For
Not suitable for use in very low cost/under bound coatings as it tends to leach out in a relatively short period.
Application
Mixing / addition instructions
250ml is added into a 20 litre drum
65ml is added into a 5 litre tin
15ml is added into a 1 litre tin
Grams or milliliters can be used as the product’s Specific Gravity is 1.

Ensure paint is well mixed prior to applying. Apply in usual manner and ensure paint is fully dried before overcoating.
Spread Rates
Additions of Midas Antifungal Additive to a paint will not notably affect the spread rate of the product.
