CRETESEAL CLEAR
A clear, low solids solvent borne Pure Acrylic that dries to a gloss finish designed to prime cretestone when a natural colour is reuired.
Recommended For
INTERIOR surfaces only.
Specifically formulated as a penetrating primer for use on cretestone surfaces where a natural cretestone finish is required.
Must be overcoated with Mattseal or other suitable waterborne glaze. Will initially darken the cretestone, but dries back to almost the original unsealed colour.
Also suitable to seal porous paving where a high build glossy finish is not wanted. Care must be taken to apply thinly and evenly otherwise glossy spots could develop in
areas of heavy application. Will generally bring out the colour of the substrate.
Not Recommended For
Not suitable for use directly onto gypsum plaster, or for use on floors and roofs.
Application
PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information on surface preparation contact
your nearest Paintsmiths store.
Thoroughly stir and apply 1 coat of Creteseal to prepared (dusted off) cretestone surfaces using a brush or roller at the stipulated spread rate.
Allow to dry before overcoating. Must be overcoated with Mattseal or other suitable waterborne glaze.
If doing paving, apply by roller and use a brush to remove excess material. Multiple coats will result in a high sheen finish.
