BITUMINOUS ALUMINIUM
A solvent-based bitumen solution pigmented with an aluminium paste. Dries to a slightly silver finish with a metallic lustre.
Recommended For
EXTERIOR bituminous surfaces only.
Most commonly used to coat and maintain bituminous roofing membranes and torch-on waterproofing systems.
Not Recommended For
Non-bituminous substrates e.g. galvanised metal.
Application
PLEASE NOTE: Correct preparation is essential. All surfaces must be sound and prepared in the recommended manner. For more information on surface preparation

Thoroughly stir and apply a minimum of 2 coats of Bituminous Aluminium to prepared surfaces using a brush or roller at the stipulated spread rates. Allow to dry before
overcoating.
The product has a very low viscosity which may result in settlement of the aluminium pigment. Accordingly, be sure to stir the product both before and during use.

NOTE: The spread rates quoted are approximate and should only be used as a guide as the actual rate will vary depending on the condition and porosity of the substrate.
